Docs

Everything you need to ship content on autopilot. These pages are placeholders while the build-out continues — we'll replace them with full guides as each subsystem ships.

Start here

  • Quickstart: sign up, connect a source, and publish your first post in under 10 minutes.
  • Core concepts: sources, pipeline queue, brand profile, content buckets, template gallery.
  • FAQ: common questions about credits, platforms, and publishing cadence.

The 5 Content Buckets

You pick buckets. The engine picks templates and providers. Each bucket is a user-facing shape that maps down to one or more internal renderers.

  • Video — Shorts, Reels, TikToks. Avatar-led, POV-demo, or stat reveals.
  • Image — X-style cards, quote graphics, persona photos, stat cards.
  • Text — X/Threads/LinkedIn posts tuned to platform cadence.
  • Blog — long-form articles with hero image and internal structure.
  • Newsletter — email-ready HTML with subject lines and pre-headers.

Brand Asset Library

Upload once, reuse across every template. Assets slot into two categories:

  • Reference — product shots, logos, screenshots, and any extra persona reference angles used by Quote Graphics, Stat Cards, and other image templates. Persona Media was merged into Reference.
  • Demo Footage — MP4/MOV clips used by POV-Demo and Unboxing templates.

Your persona's face and voice are managed in the AI Influencer Personawizard (HeyGen avatar + ElevenLabs voice clone) — not in the asset library.

You can pin a default asset per template — e.g. POV-Demo will always pull website_scroll_v3.mp4 unless you change it.

AI Influencer Personas

Personas bundle a HeyGen avatar, an ElevenLabs voice clone, and a written brand voice profile. Every persona now also carries a list of preferred templates and a default template, so the engine knows which compositions that persona is allowed to render into and which to reach for first.

Brand Prompt Lane

New source type for clients with no RSS feed or social presence to scrape. Generation runs purely from your persona profile and a rotating topic pool you define. Add angles such as:

  • Benefit — why the outcome matters.
  • Common mistake — what most people get wrong.
  • Before/after — transformation framing.
  • Customer win — real result from a real user.

The engine rotates through the pool on your publishing cadence, pairs each angle with an allowed template, and fills in the rest.

Template Gallery

Eight starter templates ship with the engine:

  • POV Hook → Product Demo (45–60s) — 4s first-person hook transitions into your product or website demo.
  • Animated X Post Card (15–30s) — tweet-style card with engagement metrics.
  • Animated Stat / Chart (15–30s) — data reveal for Educational content.
  • Product Unboxing / Reveal (30–60s).
  • Before → After Transformation (20–40s).
  • Testimonial — Customer Quote Card (15–30s).
  • Single-Stat Hook (8–15s).
  • Numbered Tutorial (30–60s).

How Template Selection Works

The engine picks from the persona's allowed templates, filtered by the content shape it needs to produce. Users never manually pick — but you can override per-video with a Regenerate dropdown on any item in the pipeline queue.

HyperFrames Rendering

BKE uses HyperFrames, a self-hosted HTML-to-MP4 renderer. Captions, overlays, and brand styling are pixel-exact matches of your caption preset. Deterministic — same inputs produce identical output every time.

Honest status:template selection and topic pools are live today. The full HTML→MP4 render worker arrives with the Phase 12.5 backend cutover and is gated behind the hyperframes_render_enabled feature flag.

Connect your sources

  • RSS feeds — point the engine at any blog or newsletter feed.
  • TikTok & Instagram scrapers — monitor competitor or reference accounts.
  • YouTube — ingest recent uploads, transcribe, and repurpose.
  • Webhooks — push custom JSON payloads into the pipeline.
  • Manual upload — drop a file or paste text into the dashboard.
  • Brand Prompt Lane — run without any external feed (see above).

Configure the transform

  • Create one or more brand voice profiles (tone, complexity, hooks, CTAs, formatting rules).
  • Pick the content buckets you want per source (Video, Image, Text, Blog, Newsletter).
  • Tune the content modes (Educational, Personal, Funny, Controversial, Rage Bait, Sales).

Publish with autopilot

  • Review items in the Pipeline Queue, or flip on Autopilot to let the engine approve & publish automatically.
  • Schedule specific slots via the Publishing Calendar.
  • Monitor performance and audience growth in Analytics once your outlets are connected.

Integrations

Kontent Engine publishes to eight platforms via Blotato, Meta Graph, LinkedIn API, Pinterest API, and Mailchimp. Rumble uses a manual queue.

Need the API?

Developer docs live under API Reference. Webhook payloads, authentication, and rate limits are all documented there.
